I particularly like this smoothie because it is incredibly creamy and incorporates some healthy fat. Have you tried avocado in your smoothies yet?
dana
I haven’t tried avo in smoothies yet, but I certainly will! This looks delish!

wow what a blend of fruits!! i love avocados in my smoothies (just honey + milk + avo) but never had them mixed with other fruits!
Linda
This is an interesting twist and what a great flavor idea! I haven’t used avocado in a smoothie yet, but I certainly will now! I think it will compliment really nicely with the pineapple.

Nice flavor for a summer treat. This is probably the creamiest smoothie I have ever had. It has the consistency of yogurt.
Kate
Thanks, Gwen!
Molly
I just tried this for the first time and all I can say is yum! The avocado makes it so creamy but you barely taste it, the banana and pineapple are the perfect combination for this tasty summer treat!
Kate
Thanks, Molly! I’m happy to hear that you enjoyed the smoothie.
Kat
Just made this! Didn’t have coconut milk sadly but I had some plain yoghurt so I chucked that in with some honey to keep it from getting too tart. Perfect! Never tried avo in a smoothie before but I’m hooked! :)
Kate
I bet it’s great with yogurt! Thanks for commenting, Kat.

This recipe sounds delicious and refreshing, even finding it on a winter day! I really enjoy avocados in my plant based protein smoothies. It really gives it a creamy mouth feel. I want to try more of your recipes!
Sara
Chiming in late, but I found this recipe and we have had it twice now. It’s delicious and creamy and the fruits cover the taste of the avocado so I can trick my picky eater! Love it!
Kate
Thanks, Sara!

I can’t have bananas is there something I should use in place of it or just remove it from the mix?
Kate
Hey Neisha! The bananas lend some sweetness and creaminess to the smoothie, but I do think it would still be great without them. You might add some almond milk to make up for the creaminess and/or some ice to make sure it’s a frozen treat.

Really light and refreshing. I couldn’t taste the avocado at all which is great for people who are scared of it in a smoothie. Definitely great to brighten up a cloudy spring day but I bet it would be equally great if the weather was nice too!
Kate
Thanks for your feedback, Hannah!

Delish! My toddler and I are under the weather with coughs and sore throats. This was a perfect smoothie! I added ¼ tsp chlorella/spirulina for green. Just enough to see but not taste.
Kate
I’m glad this helped some! I hope your toddler is better now.
